Learn the art of original Tiffany-style stained glass — from cutting to finished piece.
Learn at Glasshopper
In the stained glass workshop you will learn all forms of scoring and cutting glass sheets — straight lines, curves, triangles, circles and deeper circle cuts. From there: grinding, copper foil tape, and finally fusing the pieces together using soldering.
You will make a large sun-catcher for your balcony, garden or home to take away at the end of the course. Practice cuts are done on clear glass; your finished piece uses only original coloured imported spectrum glass.
A Do-It-Yourself kit is included so you can continue at home. Fitting metals and chains are provided with your finished piece.
Both weekday and weekend batches are announced in advance. Contact us to check upcoming dates.
